Bossy R! *bossy《口語》 親分風を吹かせる，威張り散らす.

ir, ur, erのように母音にrがつくと、母音がrの影響を受けて、こもったような新しい音（暗い・あー）になる規則。

英語では「Bossy R」と言う。RがBossy(親分風を吹かせるの意味）なので、母音の音がRにつられてしまうというイメージです。
